New features which help teachers and pupils maximise their use of the resources delivered each week to their school.
The Assembly resource continues to grow with this recent addition. The Learning assembly looks at how children view themselves as learners and asks children to reflect on the many things that they have already learnt. There are opportunities for paired discussions, for children to think about things they would like to learn about in the future and how they could become better learners.
StaffroomSupport information for teachers, including lesson plans which show how Espresso can be used to meet National Curriculum requirements, plus links to national frameworks for literacy, numeracy and QCA schemes. New look Staffroom Brand new features include the start of a partnership with the Teachers TV channel, offering a wide range of resources for professional development. Teacher TV features and relevant Espresso pages will be linked together, and a regular teaching news bulletin are coming later this term. We also offer for the first time Espresso resources cross-referenced to cross-curricular planning themes on the Curriculum mapping page taken from those used by the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). We plan much more focus on the cross-curricular use of Espresso in the coming year and believe that Espresso is an ideal partner for any school seeking a more creative curriculum. |
