Tom Hempenstall, former chief executive of Metal Bulletin plc, has been appointed chairman of the award-winning educational resource company, Espresso Group. Espresso, founded in 1997, is owned by private equity company Beringea, private investors and corporate shareholders ITN and Channel 4. It operates in the UK, Sweden and recently moved into the US market.
Talking of his appointment, Tom Hempenstall said: "I am delighted to be joining Espresso at this exciting stage of its development. It has a good management team and a young and dynamic workforce that is perfectly attuned to its marketplace."
