Espresso was thrilled last night to win the ICT Service and Support Award at the 2010 BETT Awards, held at a prestigious gala dinner at the London Hilton, Park Lane. A new category for 2010, the award celebrates UK-based companies and educational organisations that provide effective services, support and professional development to ensure that ICT really makes an impact in the classroom.
The BETT Award judges commented:
"Espresso's 'Customer Lifecycle Management Approach' helps schools, teachers and pupils to embed Espresso, Clipbank and ICT use in everyday classroom practice, enhancing teaching and learning.
Espresso had demonstrated long-term commitment to customer support through a variety of delivery methods. With over 5,000 face-to-face training sessions and the ongoing professional development of thousands of teachers annually, the company is dedicated to providing continuous service and support."
Espresso takes its pre- and post- sales service and support very seriously. Customer feedback shows it is consistently one of the things that schools appreciate about the service, and a contributing factor to its 95 per cent customer retention rate.
For many years now, one of Espresso’s unique offerings has been the quality and effectiveness of the training it provides to schools. This is not the first time Espresso's training capability has been recognised nationally for its training achievements – it received the Institute of IT Training’s Silver Award in February 2009. Awards like these prove the strength of Espresso’s customer relations and management.
Espresso Group was also a BETT Award finalist in two other categories:
The BETT Awards recognise outstanding educational products and learning solutions, and with a huge number of entries, are seen as the most prestigious in the sector. Espresso Group is proud to have already won five BETT Awards for the Espresso Primary service, including a BETT Award for Early Years in January 2009.
Jane Benson, chief operations officer, Espresso says: “We are absolutely thrilled to win this award, recognising the quality of our operations, training and technical support teams. As a group, each day, we focus intently on our customers and work very hard to ensure we deliver every school an excellent ‘Espresso experience’.”
